This year you will receive a high security wristband with a uniquely coded RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chip embedded inside. Every wristband will be scanned as you enter and exit the festival site.

Be careful when opening your wristband package. Be careful not to cut or damage your wristband. Once you've successfully opened your package and have your wristbands, treat them like cash or a precious, valuable item.

Don't unnecessarily subject your wristband to potentially damaging situations! There will be a $20 fee for replacing wristbands that are lost, stolen, or damaged due to user error.

Do not remove the excess portion of the wristband or tamper with your wristband in any way. Do not subject it to fire, cutting, stretching, or any type of alteration. Altered wristbands will be invalid and any person in possession of an altered wristband will be subject to ejection from the festival site.

If you have any questions about or problems with your wristband, visit the festival box office.

Remember - treat your wristband just like cash; there will be a replacement fee of $20 for any lost or damaged wristbands.

Bumbershoot 2016 - Sunday - dcongerphoto - 140.jpg

Only wristbands purchased through the Bumbershoot website are guaranteed to be authentic, with properly coded and activated RFID technology. Please be aware: Bumbershoot is not responsible for any counterfeit tickets or wristbands.

In addition, any wristbands reported lost or stolen will have their RFID chip deactivated and will not be valid.

For your own protection, please do not purchase wristbands from any source other than Bumbershoot or your most trusted friends and family. Fake or deactivated wristbands may look like the real thing but they will be identified by our scanning system at the front gates.

Those in possession of fake wristbands – or ones reported lost or stolen - will not be admitted to the festival.
