Three songwriters share the stage with slam poets and live painters, featuring Damien Jurado, Jen Wood, Buddy Wakefield, Rstar, Scott Erickson, and more. Typically held at the Fremont Abbey Arts Center as a well-reviewed monthly gathering, the collaborative arts event visits Bumbershoot for the first time ever.
Jen Wood
Known for her delicate and gorgeous voice, Wood has appeared on the Postal Service's landmark 2002 album Give Up as well as recordings by Jeremy Enigk, Black Heart Procession and Joan of Arc. Wood's new album Finds You In Love is her most personal and optimistic release to date.

Wakefield is the two-time Individual World Poetry Slam Champion featured on NPR, the BBC, HBO's Def Poetry Jam and signed to Strange Famous Records. Known for delivering raw, rounded, high vibration performances of humor and heart, his work is published internationally.

Carrie Biell
