When I play my iPod I usually just enjoy listening the artistâs music, but Extra Golden is extra special. Their talent as musicians aside, their strength as people is inspiring. After listening to this episode of All Things Considered on NPR, their music has taken on an unequaled depth of purpose considering their political and economic background. Since their debut album Extra Golden have released Hera Ma Nono and their latest album Thank You Very Quickly. Even President Obama has heard of them; as a Senator he helped the band acquire visas needed to enter and perform in the United States.
