Stereogum previews Beck's new album
Stereogum prematurely evaluates Beck’s Tuesday release Modern Guilt, and lo and behold, they dig it, especially the “instant classic” opening four songs (“Orphans,” “Gammy Ray,” “Chemtrails” and the title track, “Modern Guilt”).
The fact that Beck can still parallel his highest moments eight LPs in as strong a testament to his enduring genius that we could ask for.
