Apply for Bumbershoot

Thank you for your interest in the 40th annual Bumbershoot Festival. The dates for the 2010 festival are September 4–September 6 (Labor Day Weekend).

Bumbershoot's curatorial period occurs in the winter and spring. All applicants will be notified of their status directly by someone on the Bumbershoot staff. Please do not call or email the office to check on the status of your applications—please wait for us to contact you.

Any application submitted that does not also include samples of your work will not be considered.

Music

To apply to the music program, you apply through our partner site, Sonicbids. Sonicbids is the website that helps bands get gigs, and promoters book the right bands. Their site is a diverse and dynamic community on the Web, and includes bands, singers, songwriters and performers of all kinds from all over the world, and music buyers of all kinds, including promoters, licensors, festival programmers, colleges, and much more. Bands go there for gigs; promoters go there for bands. They have lots of both.
